WORKSHOP
At Langsett Cycles we been credited as a SHIMANO SERVICE CENTRE and have a large fully equipped workshop, staffed by experienced fully trained CYTECH approved mechanics.
These days there are many different types of cycles, from sophisticated dual suspension MTB's, to simple kiddies bikes, one thing that never changes is our honest advice and high quality of work.
All new cycles have a Pre Delivery Inspection. This is where all new cycles are double checked to ensure every aspect of the cycle is correctly assembled and in full working order, as even a top of the range model, if incorrectly assembled, will never perform to its true potential.
Free 1st Service within the first 1 or 2 months (depending on the amount of use) we have all new cycles back to check that everything on the cycle has settled in correctly. We feel this is a very important service as any parts or spokes that may have worked slightly loose can be tightened up before any permanent damage can occur. Also it’s an ideal time to consult us if you have any questions or queries.

BRONZE SERVICE
In this service we check that all the essential components on the cycle are correctly adjusted and the cycle is in a safe road worthy condition.
GEARS - correctly adjusted and no frayed cables, check condition of chain, sprockets etc.
BRAKES - correctly adjusted and that there are no frayed cables or worn brake blocks

SILVER SERVICE
As part of this service we literally go through and check the whole bike, but particular attention is paid to ensure that: - |
FRAME - no cracks and alignment is correct WHEELS - run true and bearings correctly adjusted BRAKES - correctly adjusted and that there are no frayed cables or worn brake blocks GEARS - correctly adjusted and no frayed cables, check condition of chain, sprockets etc. TYRES - good tread with no cuts, correct pressure generally check all nut & bolts etc. are correctly tightened up

GOLD SERVICE
This service will include every point carried out in the silver service, but the bike is completely stripped down and the following additional tasks carried out :-

Re-Grease and Replace - all bearings in headset, bottom bracket and hubs unless these items are sealed bearings Re-Grease - all inner and outer cables Clean and De-grease frame and all components You will not believe this is the same bike !!
